What is Interval Ownership? An Interval
Share is deeded fee simple, with right of survivorship, it can be mortgaged
and may be sold. Co-owners have first right of refusal for any shares
offered for sale, many owners find they would like additional shares!
The Home Owners Association, with each
co-owner getting one vote for each share they own, will have an established
budget which includes every expense needed to maintain this home. Your
regime fee will be billed quarterly. Upon departure of your stay, each owner
will be required to pay for housekeeping, a service provided by the property
management company.
Fred P. Holland Realty, having served
Folly Beach for over 30 years, will be your property management company. We
will be handling items such as maintenance, home upkeep, lawn service, pest
control, emergency repairs and maid service. Owners may choose to rent their
weeks by placing them in our rental pool. Each owner will be responsible for
their share of commission due the rental agency for any weeks they choose to
rent. You may find that one week rental will subsidize your regime fee for
the year!
